DIY Patio Table

I discovered these really cool hairpin metal legs for a table at the thrift store and of course, being apple green – I had to have them! I had been thinking about getting a little table for my patio so the timing was perfect! I had thrifted a very light weight table with three legs previously that I had planned to redesign but the legs ended up being quite unstable so it ended up in storage for years. No one wants to lose their morning coffee to a wobbly table!

Check out the YouTube video below for the whole process!

Measure the table top and mark out the placement of the legs. Ensure all are equally spaced to prevent tipping!

Once you have marked out the placement, screw in the new legs. Make sure the screws are the right size before you start!

Clean the surface of the table top as much as possible for smooth coverage. I applied two coats of exterior paint to ensure full coverage.

Don’t forget to paint the under side of the table top! This extra coating will protect it from the elements as much as possible.
