Thrifting in California

Last week I escaped to sunny Southern California for a one week getaway for both pleasure and to be one of my dear friend’s plus one at her sister’s wedding in Fallbrook. I went down a day early and stayed a day later to do some touring of San Diego on my own and naturally I had to seek out the thrift stores! Over the course of the week I visited a total of four: The Salvation Army and Goodwill in San Diego plus the Salvation Army in Temecula and Savers in nearby Murrieta.

27525 Jefferson Ave, Temecula
25125 Madison Ave #102, Murrieta

My favourite location was definitely Goodwill as it was very organized, clean and very well priced. Banana Republic dress for only $6.99?! Yes please! I found both Salvation Army locations to be extremely overpriced and poor quality, it was exhausting trying to weed through, ultimately it just wasn’t worth it to me. Savers was also a great stop, well organized and clean… prices were reasonable too which is more than I can say for Value Village in Canada!
